Wild turkey lurking in NE Tacoma near the Cliff House Restaurant 5/30.

I've never seen an Eastern hen look like that either. Somebody had their Merriam get through the fence.

I was going to say exactly that. That isn't a eastern almost postive that is a merriam. I would say that is one someone raised and it got loose. I have heard of other people seeing turkey in Tacoma before.
There is no hunting in the fall on the westside

We used to hunt bandtails on those hills. Turkeys would be lot less shooting :dunno:
Might be bit too grown up these days.
Then again, we used to hunt ducks on the Tacoma "tideflats". Good times :tup:
