I see the shad are running anyone out after them?
I need to get down there this year.

Yes. The numbers are fluctuating, but the next two weeks will be lights out good for boat guys. River is up, so bank folks should be doing well. Sunday was 70 fish in 3 hrs for two rods

you can always check the numbers on line. 75000 went over the damn a few days ago. it should start to really pick up here soon.

Was up at Bonneville a few days ago and it was good.  We each landed over 20 in 2 hours.  We only kept the ones that swallowed the hook.  The numbers so far this year are less than 1/2 the 10 year average so hopefully its just a late run

We caught 65 in two hours.  Lots of fish going over the damn right now.  Usually head down when it hits 100K going over, but had to go a week earlier.  Typically always go down around June 14th.

Any idea if Jhon Day is good for this weekend or should we wait a week or two to make the trip?
