Nice work! I went 0/6 on my rod last Saturday! :bash: Its unbelievable a fish can strike a plug so hard and not get hooked. Fun and frustrating!

I was running factory trebles on the plug that was getting bit. I ran some of my other ace plugs but they did not yield any bites. My brother did not get a sniff all day on 5-6 different proven plugs.

I lost my best fishing buddy in December, its hard to imagine going out without him. I guess I need to branch out in my network if I want to salmon again. RIP Doug!Happened to me last may. Sorry for your loss man, what finally got me back on the water was the thought that he wouldn't want me to not fish just because he wasn't there, plus, every time I get a fish, I know he's with me

:yeah: Big singles are the way to go for sure. It is always amazing when a fish absolutely pins a rod, peeling line, and doesn't hook up. That is the curse of plugs at times though.
