Results will be posted tomorrow, Sunday. It's always on the 20th now, regardless of what day of week it is.

Results coming up.

Results are up!

I checked right in the middle of the results being posted, showed I had drawn elk but nothing else. Then a few minutes later the rest was done and I ended up with buck, bull, and antelope. :IBCOOL:

Thanks Jae. Might have to start a Gofundme account or :yike: sell a gun to finance all the travel.

Drew what I expected in Oregon. Knew the seed number was too far away for 25% pool on the good tags, and didn't have enough points in the 75% pool on my bull/buck/antelope 1st choices. But pulled my antlerless 1st choice (knew I would), second choice buck, second choice elk, and pulled a rare second choice antelope tag (granted it's available as second choice as it's not a very desirable tag....but I'm still going to hunt it). Now I'm like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for my buddies to wake up and check their tags to see who all drew what. One guy was in range for a Premium Wenaha elk tag based on his app # compared to the seed #, which would change things around if he drew it as we'll all go sherpa for him.....so waiting for him to check in with results this morning....

Imnaha Rifle Elk for me! :)
-
my son drew his rifle bull tag for saddle mountain.
-
Sled Springs archery elk for me.
-
My boy drew youth elk tag, buck tag. And a buddy drew Mt Emily archery bull tag.
Hate that eastside deer tags went draw for archery!!! What a mess.
-
Sunday Bloody Sunday!!!!!! Come on buck tag!!!!
Our group of 5 drew our Murderers creek buck tags. The trail cams are already showing lots of bucks……

Nice, a buddy and I had 100% draw odds and didn't draw??

Best get used to it, I've got a feeling all the OTC tags are going to disappear in the near future. Why sell you a tag OTC when they can force you to apply (for $8) and then sell you that same tag? Good luck to your son.

Happened to me last year, a sudden influx of high point applicants threw the predictions way off.

This was actually one of our fears. We were at 3.6 point average, tag site said we needed 4 to get it, and at 5 tags we were afraid a few non res hunters would drop in with more points and push us out. However we slipped in and I am okay with that!
-
congrats to those drawn , i was drawn for 2nd choice tags , a rifle deer tag and a archery spike elk tag ill not be buying since my buddies drew Mt Emily archery elk , so ill be tagging along untill i head to NM for my archery elk hunt !

Congrats! I have hunted that unit a few times, but not for elk. However we saw elk every time we were in the unit. I can give you a few places to start looking. I will send a pm.

Nothing for me this year, but I only applied for a bighorn tag again (since 1973). Then my son Luke finally got around to checking his controlled hunt results a couple days ago. He drew a West Deschutes #2 bighorn sheep tag!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm so stoked for him. Between myself, my two brothers, and my two sons we have close to 200 years of applications for Oregon bighorn and this is the first tag in our family. I've been on four sheep hunts with other people, but this will be the BEST! :IBCOOL:

My wife and I have about 50 years between us and no sheep tag. We’re non Rez though.

Congrats to your son Treekiller, I've been trying for a bighorn tag since 1968, not ready to give up yet.

Thanks Rick! My two brothers both have over 50 years each hoping for a tag. Just hope the Deschutes canyon doesn't burn up this summer!

Had a good hunt. The group went 6 for 8 on bucks.
26” 4x4
23” 4x5
20” 4x4
18” 3x5
And 2 forked horns.
We also saw one bear and 5 bulls and gobs of mountain quail!
Super steep rough country but we saw lots of deer and my one buddy phone scoped a truly giant buck, we watched the video at dinner one night. We estimated the buck over 30” wide and 24” tall with trash on its right side.
Really a great hunting experience.
I hope others have had success!

Sounds like an awesome hunt and nice buck(s)!
