Title: #11 magnum versus standard?
Post by: HoofsandWings on April 26, 2009, 09:03:33 PM: I see that cci makes magnum #11 primers. Should I use them? Precautions?

Post by: MagKarl on April 27, 2009, 09:10:35 AM: I have bought those by accident and have not noticed a difference between the regular and magnum caps on my rifle, yours might be different. I'm sure some will claim faster hotter ignition, both versions work fine for me.

Post by: B.G.hunter on April 28, 2009, 10:15:44 PM: i know a couple of people who work for cci in lewiston where they make the caps. the claim is the magnum caps have something like 2/10 of a gram more priming compound for better ignition on synthetic powder and pelletized powders
