Title: Fishing near Pullman
Post by: gutsnthegrass on June 24, 2021, 08:00:03 AM: Going to be in Pullman over the weekend, any advice on where to take my boys for some quick fishing trips between ballgames?

I was thinking wawawai would be the best bet.

Post by: KP-Skagit on June 24, 2021, 08:48:57 AM: Wawawai is definitely the best bet just given proximity. I used to walk the tracks toward the dam and fish off a big rock outcropping. Used to catch a lot of smallmouth there and the occasional carp.

Post by: Karl Blanchard on June 24, 2021, 08:54:23 AM: Agreed with others on wawawai. Spinner baits are killer right now. I like the darker colors or white. Also any darker 4" soft bait either weedless or a 1/4 jig head. When you pull a bass out, move ten yards and keep fishing.
