Title: Fishing near Pullman

Going to be in Pullman over the weekend, any advice on where to take my boys for some quick fishing trips between ballgames?

Thanks

Down to the Snake River, there are two pretty good access points at Wawawai and at Lower Granite Dam. Think smallmouth this time of year!

I was thinking wawawai would be the best bet.

Wawawai is definitely the best bet just given proximity. I used to walk the tracks toward the dam and fish off a big rock outcropping. Used to catch a lot of smallmouth there and the occasional carp.

Agreed with others on wawawai. Spinner baits are killer right now. I like the darker colors or white. Also any darker 4" soft bait either weedless or a 1/4 jig head. When you pull a bass out, move ten yards and keep fishing.
