Was in Ellensburg bi-mart a couple weekends back and saw a Thompson center compass on the shelf chambered in 6.5 creedmoor for $199.99. Wasn't looking for a rifle but I bought it any way. So this week I've ordered vortex scope rings, Gen 2 little *censored* brake and a Zeiss v4 4-16x44 scope. Plan is to get this thing set up for my girls to shoot this coming season. Wife seems super happy my two hundred dollar gun has now turned into a lot more than that.

I told my wife the rule for a scope was it should be 1 to 1 1/2 times the value of the rifle. She didn't care for that sentiment. Sounds like you might make out easy since it isn't a $1500 rifle to start with. Good score.
