Title: no elk but called my biggest bobcat yet
Post by: bearmanric on November 09, 2007, 04:15:25 PM: did a little calling in the afernoon's. couple session's for cougar and a couple for bobcat. this big fellow came in the back door. shot him with my cougar gun 22-250 vssf Rem 55gr silver ballistics not fur friendly. was ten feet from Fx5 was using the DSG rabbit. big Kitty. going to sight the Ar in tomorrow. then it's coyote time. Post by: bearmanric on November 15, 2007, 06:41:37 PM: just calling. i use a whirling woodpecker. when i was hunting in Arizona i used a mojo fury twily thing it would stop the coyote's good. a light fether on fishing line or thread work's great. Rick

Post by: Blacklab on November 17, 2007, 04:34:49 PM: I made a call with that weasel ball. They have one on varmint als thats where I got the idea. My first set I called in a raven that was it. Picked up and went some where else. When I got there I relized I broke my weasel :'(. I threw a few rounds in the truck for elk hunting, well they rolled and broke my weasel. That was before deer season so I thought after deer and elk I'll make another and hit it again. Predator hunting , not the weasel ;). Gonna be fun :IBCOOL:
