Title: Norway Pass Muzzleloader Elk
Post by: Luke on July 05, 2021, 01:12:29 PM
Hi everyone, I drew a Muzzleloader Norway Pass Bull tag October 9-15. The camping in there is only in a handful of designated spots with permit only. All the backcountry camping permits for the Mount Margret area are booked. I was looking through past topics on the site about Norway Pass and I saw some comments about people booking the camping spots just in case they drew. I was wondering if by chance someone did just that and didn't draw? Also If anyone has drawn and camped in there without a permit and or not in a designated site? As you can guess I will be spending a lot of time in there this year scouting. For the most part I can do that as day trips, but once the season starts it would be nice to have fresher legs. Any information would be appreciated, thank you in advance Luke.
