After about 2 hours of sitting, which included about 45 minutes of calling, I took a walk to get warmed up. On my way back, I found this chocolate bear heading toward me. It looked as if he may have come to my call then continued up the game trail. I knelt then shot him with a Bighorn Armory Model 89 at about 8:15 a.m. and he didn't take a step.
Poor guy never saw me but I feel he got even when I had to pack him out in pieces. That goodness I had someone to help me.
