Title: Northport IEP land
Post by: Billy74 on September 10, 2021, 07:28:47 PM
Wanting to hunt some new ground this year.  Scouted some FS land in 105 and found some nice places.  I was looking at IEP land around Northport and that looks like a great place but have some “?”
Is that mostly WT? Or a good mix
Is there good access/parking? (The maps on the website aren’t great)
I want to set up a good camp for the week, wall tent and buddies trailer.  Is there good pub land close to set up Within 30 or so minutes (by truck)?  I’m a fan of finding a flat spot tucked away and less into modern camping sites.
What are the roads like up there in a typical late rifle hunt?
Most of my experience has been East and NE of Colville in 111, I know there has been good success up there, just not by me.
105/108 has a slightly better harvest number.  Worth it to switch units?
