Title: Killing Ducks Falcon Style
Post by: Otto1 on November 11, 2007, 02:28:53 PM: Had a chance to go out with a friend/co-worker today with his Gyre falcon and brought my boy along to witness a different way to get a duck.. He was very impressed let alone very excited..

Post by: TONTO on November 15, 2007, 06:06:51 PM: Last year I was sitting next to a little beaver pond out in the woods,the pond had some mallards and teal that frequented it.So here I am squating in the cattails watching the sky over my spread.Off to the north I spy 8 or so mallards coming in,landing gear dropping,I'm ready,here they come,safety off(click)......then all of a sudden out of a tree comes a hawk,not sure what kind but big like a red tail and wham grabs a mallard right out of the sky :o,the rest of the flock flared off,no shooting >:(,but that was one of the gnarliest things I'ld ever seen,I was out ducked by a master that day.
