Got a tip from a guy on a good spot for bears so I'm heading out this weekend. This will be my first real bear hunt. Wondering if you guys have any suggestions for late season success on the east side?
Going to be hanging out around 2400-3000 feet of elevation.
Planning on trying to call something in.
The area has recently had elk hunters in it.
If we found a recently killed elk carcass, Would it be a good idea to setup over it? Or would that be considered baiting?

You can hunt gut piles and carcasses so long as you didn't place it there for that purpose
