Title: Hancock Kapowsin Hoof Rot
Post by: Duckslayer89 on November 06, 2021, 06:24:32 PM: My brother was up near the old gate on the south side taking his kids for a drive and saw a cow limping bad. She had a calf with her. He told me about it and he wasn’t aware of hoof rot and was surprised when I told him. Has anyone else seen that in there yet? I see a lot of elk and haven’t seen it yet but didn’t get the permit last year. Anyways are we suppose to report that?

Haven’t seen much of it this year but with being locked out for so long this year we didn’t have the opportunity to spend a lot of time in there. Buddy found a bull on a side road that was kicking his last kick that had it 2 years ago.

Damn that’s sad. I have to say I have seen less elk this year than two years ago when I last had the pass. But like you said I didn’t spend as much time in there this year. Then they have the nerve to write mass emails about how we need to act better as permit holders because a few guys went in earlier than suppose to. But we are locked out for months. No money back.
