Finally found one around noon May 1st above the Joe Watt feeding station. Looked like others were having some luck, too. Nice to see people enjoying our public wildlife lands. I picked up a couple of ticks, too. Usual spring thing. Didn't see any quad abuse until we drove over to the Manastash ridge road the next day. Couple of guys drove off the green dot roads with their quads. We found one of their trails and then cut over to some timber and my girlfriend found a set of five point elk sheds. She gathered them up before I could get a picture of them and I forgot to take a photo later. I did take a couple of my shed. For a brief moment I almost passed it off as branches, but I check everything that looks like an antler and was rewarded with this six-point. About 42 inches and 5 and a half pounds.

Used my camcorder to take the photos. Not the greatest for stills.

Nice shed. What was the most sheds that you seen anyone with up there.

Two at the most. One fellow had a couple or more of decent antlers, but he was a mile away and I couldn't be sure. Another interesting thing I noticed was no one running in before the guy opened the gate.

great job glad you and the lady had fun. Too bad the quad runners couldnt park and walk off the roads. Been there and tempted :)
