Title: Filet gloves
Post by: rasbo on December 13, 2021, 01:16:40 PM
Thinking of buying some gloves for cleaning fish. I've never used any glove other than cotton, but I've cut myself and find fins still poke me. What the opinions here?

Buy a kevlar glove, pretty cheap on Amazon these days.  They don't do much against pokes but are good against cuts and keep a good grip when wet and slimy.

Great idea, I always seem to get a nick now and then.

I use them on big game as well, especially with Havalon knives in the dark.

I carry one on my field pack in a Ziplock bag, if it gets cruddy it goes back in the bag. Walmart has a 2 pair pack for $11.82, Amazon is $5.99 a pair.
