Title: What kind of bait.
Post by: luvtohnt on May 07, 2009, 08:39:31 AM: My neighbor gave me some chinook this last year and it was great so I figured I would give it a try to get some of my own. The Yakima will open on the 16th for spring chinook and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on a good set up for some good fishing. Thanks in advance.

Post by: klickman on May 07, 2009, 12:13:44 PM: Bobber and eggs or drifting eggs and a corkie on the bottom. If you have a driftboat then you can back troll plugs and or spin n glo and eggs. Good luck. Yak springers are a ton of fun.

Post by: Antlershed on May 07, 2009, 07:17:24 PM: I second the bobber and eggs. I caught a Springer this last weekend on some eggs I cured with Ammerman's...its good stuff. I also caught one on ProGlo, and two on Last Supper, so I don't think they were being too picky. ;)
