Anyone use one of these?  What can you tell me about it.  Does it work well on elk at reasonabler ranges?  Got any reload data for it?

Awesome little round! I had a custom Modell 88 built some years ago, just sold it a few months ago. I made it too perty, made me sick to beat it up in this brush hole around here. Last Christmas I bought my 13 year old a Browning BLR 358, he seems too like it fine. As far as a elk cartridge, out to 300 yards, its a dandy. Killed my best Roosevelt with a 358. I had best luck with 48.5 grains of winchester 748, 225 SGK's at around 2500 fps. Works good on bucks too. Later

I have a buddy that has one in a 99.  He has killed elk, deer, and bear with it.  It is best to reload for it.  Factory stuff if you can find it starts around $50 per 20.
