Title: Ethanol-free gas
Post by: wadu1 on February 11, 2022, 08:27:03 AM
Can anybody recommend a place to purchase ethanol-free gas in the Tacoma area. The UTV I purchased two weeks back recommend 87 or 92 and ethanol-free would-be the best choice.
Thanks

:yeah: There's an app for that.  :chuckle:

Just FYI, is you go to an "un-maned" self serve station, check closely at the credit card reader on the pump. Skimmers are targeting these types of stations. Guess how I know?

Stay away from any marina as the price is usually much higher.  If you are in T-town there are at least two places to get Non-E in Fife.  Just google.  Price is much better.

I get mine at fuel farm on C st in Auburn. The problem with those apps is that I tried to use it and 90% of the stores that say they have ethanol free do not anymore. You’ll waste a lot of time driving around. I’d look outside of the marinas, they are expensive and convenient if you’re in a boat but not so much if you’re in the parking lot and have to carry it to your rig.

I get mine at the Cenex stations in either Auburn or Black Diamond or the Grange in Issaquah.  And my boat gets fueled mostly at the marina.  Not worth it to me to take it out and put it back in to save a few bucks.

I don't know if they have any on the west side but nearly all the Maverik gas stations around here have Ethanol Free/Pure Gas.  Some of the CENEX have it too.  My truck doesn't hardly get driven much, less than 5K in 2+yrs, so I generally fill it up with Ethanol Free.  That's all I use in my 4wheeler, snowblower, lawn mowers, and keep in gas cans.

Check the REZ’s. I run non ETH in everything except my PU, get it from Nisqually REZ when I swing by for chew.
