Tagging. I'm itching for some March bass fishing on Moses.

Potholes had ice on it last sunday. Soda lake was half froze and they hadn't turned the water loose yet. I reckon they started to fill Soda on Monday :dunno:

Was super warm in the basin the last few days. I bet most big water is open or mainly open. I can't personally verify but that is my guess.

There is still some ice but temps have been above 50 all week

Coworker just told me that Moses is now ice free. You may already know, but watch out for some rocky shallow spots on there with the low water level if you're going soon.

Both sides of i90 STILL ice on it as of the last hour.

I know Banks is still iced near Coulee city, but getting pretty thin. Last night got back into the low 20s though. Need some at least mid 40"s with wind to clear it.

Anyone drive by Lake Lenore recently? :dunno:
-
Went by Lenore Monday, still frozen but opening up a bit around the edges here and there. Soap lake.mostly also. But the 500+ snow geese and 3-4000 Canada geese on it seemed to keep a patch open near town.

I went by Lenore today and it was about 50% ice free and losing fast. The north and south end were open but still ice in the middle. Moses still has ice but by saturday it may be ice free its losing it fast.
