Title: 2020 Blacktail Back from Taxidermist
Post by: Trigger05-11 on July 04, 2022, 09:18:13 PM: I got my 2020 Blacktail Back from the Taxidermist today. I killed him one mile from I-5 and he scored 130 5/8. Got him with my 20 gauge. Independence Day and Christmas all in one. Not sure if I have ever been so excited.

So glad you reached out. I had seen him a few times the months leading up to the season, but never got him on trail cam. He was a bit of a traveler as he had been seen a few miles from where I would see him. Would you mind messaging me a few of the trail pics, or posting them here?

Post by: fishnfur on July 11, 2022, 10:09:07 PM: very cool buck. Massive bases and all kinds of craziness on his left side. Another fine example of atypical BT rack that doesn't fork into the normal Vs described for the species. Tines instead seem to come off a main beam.

I"m loving big brother with the killer eyeguards and massive chest hanging to his left. What a pig that buck is! Both are superb trophies!
