Title: Close to a state record
Post by: MeepDog on July 11, 2022, 07:01:17 PM
Not close enough!
The state record Pikeminnow is 7.92 lbs and measured 24.4" long. I was jigging for walleye in the hanford reach today and pulled this big mama that came pretty close by my standards. She was 6.9lbs and 24.6" long. If only she ate some more minnows right before I caught her. She was stuffed full of eggs too. I can't even imagine how many salmon smolts she ate in her lifetime. Caught on a blade bait with a white body and red head.

No I'm not in the reward program. I don't catch a lot of numbers.
