Title: Help identifying flare gun
Post by: Night goat on July 16, 2022, 01:21:46 PM
From my research it’s a Webley #1 mark 5? Flare gun, ww1-ww2 era, 1” bore?

Not 100%, picked it up at a swap meet, in excellent condition, minimal wear and looks
like it’s probably never been shot more than a few times…. In remarkably good shape for it’s assumed age

Anybody know anything about these?

It is only marked CANADA BE330706

Cool gun.  I'm no expert but it may be a replica.  I believe Webley's are marked Webley, Webley/Scott, WG and/or have a wing icon stamped on them.

Anyway, nice find.
