Who uses electronic calls for bears and how's the success. What brand and model are you using. What is your go to call? I have a couple old burns that I plan on trying this out in I would just like to hear how others are doing. With the lack of bearies where I like to hunt I am looking at a couple other options. Looking for success east side of the state.

I use electronic caller and keep a mouth call handy in case I see a bear while walking. I usually use a stressed fawn call, but a few days ago I tried a stressed elk calf and had a small bear show up.
Berries in the Blues are still not peaking in this heat, so I've been staying near water sources. 99% of the bear sign I've been seeing has to do with them searching for insects. No piles of digested berries yet.

Used a Foxpro Inferno for the first time this spring. Didn't call in any bears during the first 6 days. Then spotted a distant bear (1.5 miles), closed to within what I figured was close to where he should be, used the FoxPro and he came in within 5 minutes. He was close. Just walked in, in no hurry. Had the call set on fawn in distress.
I had used a variety of sounds during the first 6 days and mouth calf call. Will use that same combo during archery elk hunts the next few weeks.

My success is limited having called in 3 bears. I have tried fawn in distress hand and electric, rabbit in distress hand and electric. And diaphragm elk calls. So far the only thing that’s worked for me is rabbit in distress hand call twice. And once Called in a bear elk hunting with cow calls. I was tagged out all ready for 2 of those 3 bears.

How loud do you call when using an electronic call. I have tried calling for them a couple times but no luck yet.

I thought the use of electronic devices were prohibited in Washington? Or is that just the use of electronic decoys?

No e callers for deer, elk, waterfowl and turkeys. Good to go for all predators..

Thank everyone, appreciate the help!

I've been holding off on calling for bears,
Until now.
Was waiting for Sept 1.
I'd be pretty sad if a cougar showed up and couldn't shoot.
But now is game on.
Sorry archery hunters.

You appear to do very well calling year after year (if my memory serves me right). I am curious to see how this year plays out for you. I am still trying the calling game with very little success. Last year, I think I called one in but it never committed to showing itself. Will be at it again this year and hope to figure it out as it just sounds fun.
Good luck!!

I use an icotec. In combination with a spinning tail decoy. Not terribly impressed with the ecaller but I did call in a bobcat with it last year. I do like that it has a remote that works up to about 100 yards away. Whenever I use my hand calls I'm always worried about what's behind me which makes me fidget. But solved that issue, I think, by bringing a small bike mirror with me that I hook in the back of my knee so that I can always see behind me without actually turning. I also think that there are so many blackberries right now that the bears have no desire to leave their berry buffets.
