just taking a little pole to see if im blind or what but on average i think most the coyotes i've killed have been in like the 20-50 yard range while calling, every once and awhile i'll have one stop out there and 200 that has me pinned down but, most the time they are right in my lap.

we pretty much play one of two ways, either in your face, or who can make the farthest hit. so pretty much 10 feet to 1k yards.
-
30 to 75 yards.
-
Probably 20 yards.
-
Usually a couple hundred yards in the sage, but they can get out there on the ice and it's fun to let them have it from a distance.
-
I kill most coyotes at less than 100 yds.
-
40-100 I like to stop singles at around 80 if I have a chance. Multiples I let them get closer. Shotgun yotes 35 yards and under.
-
i'm not usually shooting, but from all the ones i call in they get shot at usually under 100 yrds. but in eastern washington we was shootin at 200yrds sometimes

I don't hunt Coyote very often. I've killed three. Two at 50 yards and one about 20 -25 yards. The one at 20 - 25 came in to my cow call during a muzzle load season.
