Looks like a black to me, the toe pads are arcing and even though I can't make out the far left one it seems more black than griz.  Main pad looks more black too, griz are much wider than they are tall and this one looks nearly as tall as it is wide.

I've seen a couple big black bear in the neighborhood this year.  And too many cats.

I wasn't sure if it might be a grizz cub, I've never seen grizz cub tracks before :dunno:

The tracks were small, cub size

There's supposed to be a grizz in this drainage I was in, found out afterwards, but there's blacks too

So I wasn't 100% on type of bear

The pad shape says blackie though
