Just a friendly reminder that 633 Mason is shotgun/pistol/muzzleloader ONLY, south of Hammersly Inlet. (Lynch/Arcadia/Kamilche area) I understand that most people probably are just unaware, rather than blatantly ignoring the law. However, it's getting ridiculous how many people I see with centerfire bolt guns and scopes while I suffer with a smoothbore and foster slugs. Pass it on! RANT OVER.

Sounds like you're more PO'd that in their ignorance those rule breakers somehow have an advantage on you.
anyways the rest of the restricted area:..all of Harstene Is. Seems I remember this area used to be restricted in the Northern half +/- in the past. No worries there though. No deer on that island.
BTW: You can get very accurate shots out to 200 yards with the right ammo and this gun. I got a "used" gun auction site online for around $400 that was apparently just open box/floor model Like new anyways: . https://savagearms.com/content?p=firearms&a=product_summary&s=57377

I grew up at the very end of Kamilche Point. Shot a lot of bucks there and on Hartstine with my old 12 gauge. There has always been locals that hunt with a rifle. Some of my cousins were guilty of that as were members of the tribe. It’s always been a problem, the WDFW knew it but didn’t seem to care. They spent most of their time patrolling Dayton, Matlock and the Skok.

I used to hunt down by Totten inlet. Took my last buck there with black powder instead of my shotgun back in 1991. Lots of deer in there
