I finally was able to call a turkey in.It took a lot of gentle turkey talking to get the lead hen to come my way,and about twenty five minutes.She comes up out of a little dip with three other hens 35yds away,the tom was following right along.I got off what I thought was as good shot at 30yds,and they all just ran off.Went down and found a couple of small feathers,searched for an hour1/2 but no bird.That was the first one I have called in,what an exciting experience.Gee thanks guys, now I have the fever.

:twocents: Something to consider: Don't know if you did, but everyone's tendency is to want to watch them flop and we don't always keep our heads down on the sight ... then we over shoot ... remember you can watch them flop once they are down, and its even more fun (than calling them in) to give them a piggyback ride to your cooler.
