Anybody had problems shooting Triple 7 pellets? what about loose?

Triple seven is awesome, but it depends on your gun and what your gun likes. My gun (thompson center thunderhawk .54 w/ #11 nipple) really shoots the triple 7 better than black or pyrodex, but my buddies gun doesn't "like" the triple 7 so he has to use pyrodex. Problems i've seen are delayed ignition after the cap goes off and   failure to ignite but if you clean your gun and seat the pellets well you should be good to go if your gun "likes" it. different muzzleloaders are picky. I like the triple 7 because its so much cleaner. Performance wise, not much different than pyrodex IMO.

you using loose or pellets?

I tried 150 grains pellets 5 years ago. Didn't work for me. Tried 100 grains pellets, still bad patterns in my gun. I went back to loose 3f 777 and do fine.
