Title: Tikka T3x 7mm-08 and eldx ammo
Post by: steeleywhopper on January 15, 2023, 09:33:25 AM: Wondering if anyone has a Tikka t3x 7mm-08 and has used factory 150gr eldx out of it? If so what were your results? I am thinking about giving it a go and seeing how it does, but looking for input before dropping the coin on ammo.

I don't see why the ELDX shouldn't shoot well.

Post by: rem700300 on January 16, 2023, 10:42:48 AM: It is the only ammo that had ever been shot through my compact Tikka 7mm-08.I hand load for most of my rifles but decided to keep this one simple with factory ammo.I don't recall group sizes for this rifle but i never felt that Ive needed more.I'm sure it was an inch or tighter @ 100yds other wise i would of worked on some hand loads .Ive shot 3 bucks and a bear with it and all the deer died with in a few steps and the bear probably went 20 -30 yards. Hope this helps.
