Rewilding the West and the 2023 Farm Bill

An opportunity for the feds to control the food supply and dictate what we can and cannot eat.
-
What a load of crap.
Read the comments. “Ron Kozan” WAS doing a really good job on there offering a different point of view from what I saw, that is until he was censored and removed from the site in typical radical environmentalist fashion. Time for a few more Ron Kozans on sites like that
-
Ron could have done a better job of choosing his words, but at least he was willing to speak out in an echo chamber.

We're probably not far behind the Dutch

How does it help to 're-wild' when at least 5 million 'migrants' have come across in the last couple years. People that are still interested in having kids and do so with high birth rates?
Seems to me we'll need more plows turning the west.

Bugs

I'm forward thinker, and thinking about becoming a bug farmer, to feed Seattle :chuckle: :dunno:
-
Wait until bugs for human consumption get a green light to feed recycled human waste (for the planet!)
-
Also bugs make a great vaccine vessel to keep people healty, happy and not prosperous! (and sterile)
I'm being glib, but there are folks with these great ideas and money to push it.

2022 74% of the USDA budget was food assistance and nutrition, food stamps in old days, 13% farm and conservation subsidies. The farm bill is always a tough sell, many want to take away that 74% and give it to other swamp people. Rewilding is such a tiny portion as to be non existent which is why they might slip it by. Keep watch, pay attention.
