Post by: Old Mule on May 28, 2009, 08:41:46 PM
I saw on the WDFW sight the number of Summer Run Smolts Planted in this River, Does any one Fish it, How and When? It seems it would be as productive as the Cowlitz, but you don't here much about it.

It is mostly a night fishery in my expierence. We only fish it in june at night in the lower river (lighted plugs). Then up at the hatchery float and jigs in july early mornings..

its a good river, I used to use spinners at the deadline early in the morning and get my fish on a regular basis... and no one really fishes up there
