Title: Fisher successfully breeding

Post by: Snapshot on June 03, 2009, 07:34:12 AM: They are a good looking critter, for sure. I saw one about three-four years ago in the Mt. Adams Wilderness. From a distance of 30-40 feet I got to study it for about 15 seconds before it was spooked away. The WDFW man I talked to didn't believe me and I hadn't had my camera handly so as to record it. Now that it has come to light that there were re-introduction plans underway, I can understand why the man I talked to insisted I was mistaken. Had I captured an image it probably would have screwed up their funding for planting them.

THe Fisher is extremely cool though!

They have been in the French Cabin Basin area for over 15 years
