For the win

You think he forgot about the hull numbers of the bow? Thats as good as red light cameras.
-
That boy is going to jail and may lose his boat plus a hefty fine! :bdid:
-
Yeah they closed all of California and most of Oregon for salmon fishing and people are getting there panties in a wad over this, the REAL PROBLEM, I hope he hit a bunch of those fur bags and they die from it!!!!

The actual video is in this article. Dumb for sure but when there are rafts/packs of them all across the river you could blame a lot of boaters for this. Though this guy did swerve toward others sea lions on the video. A second boat was recorded as well. I've never swerved towards them but I certainly don't swerve away either.

Poor, harmless, beautiful, majestic creatures.
From the video....yeah nature was here first. Back when sea lions could fish endless miles of stagnant pools through which fish have to navigate and ladder.
-
"The outrage! And here I was, trying to mind my own business doing heroin in the park down by the river!"
Those useless furbags are used to dodging boats. My guess is none were even close to harmed. Harassment at best.
Hopefully the boat numbers are obscured and they don't catch him. Dumb to do it though.
-
No body? No murder, maybe harassment.

A guy I knew used to love to try running down comorants
Fly you fish eating bastages :chuckle:

Prolly post speed limits for entire river during the 1Jan-31Dec breeding season to protect them. I take issue with the 'fisherman' who felt like a hero for narkin' him out.

I've been on small commercial fishing boats......seemed to be a fair number of marine grade 12 Gauge shotguns tucked away in convenient locations.

Agreed. I spent a decade commercial fishing in Alaska. I witnessed entire sand spits of seals and sea lions mowed down by 15 guys all shooting AR’s and Mini 14’s. As many as 700 killed at a time. It would take three tides to wash the blood and carnage out of the bay. Population control that worked. I wonder how the tree hugger and his daughter who took the video would react to that.

Reminds me of when Tom Nelson got the $2,500 ticket from NOAA for tossing a scrap of fish to a furbag in the harbor on the news criticizing management practices. He got the same penalty as if he had shot and killed one.
NW1805032 – Tom Nelson was charged under the Marine Mammal Protection Act with
unlawful taking of a harbor seal by feeding it. A $2,500 NOVA was issued and the case
settled for $2,250.
If that was me driving, I would be nervous since there was a bunch of swerving going on. I think if you are going straight you can at least have a chance at arguing out of it.

Never mind blatant drug use, shoplifting and closing of major retailers! We need to catch these sea lion harassers!

Wasn't aware that Hewescraft made a Pro-V Sea Runner. I'll do my part. When I see one, I'll be sure to notify a responsible party.
-
One of those sea lions that was attacking his boat might have been the same one that broke my lucky flasher last year. Hope they catch it and make a hat. Looks like he was trying to dodge them but they kept on popping up right in his way.
-
On Fakebook, someone was trying to raise money, to get this boat owner a new boat wrap and different color canvas. Made me chuckle...... :chuckle:

No worry, NOAA has saved the Salmon!! Piped open ditched was their answer to all the Salmon's problems!

He needs a sanctuary harbor.

Meanwhile in Canada they are whacking and stacking them. If you are a Facebook user check out Pacific Balance Marine Management.

Tom Sewind is a dual citizen, I believe tribal both sides of the border. They have a place in Nanaimo That makes the coolest harbor seal vests! They cannot ship one to me unfortunately. Id love to have one and would buy one if i could get it here.
