Title: High lake fishing this summer

JUST KIDDING

I getting kind of excited for this year.. plan on doing a bit in Okanogan, its been a couple years (3-4) since I have gone and am already setting dates. Who else is getting ready? Feel free to post some pics (that don't give your spot away)....

I always have run spinning gear, but may get all high and mighty this year and try a little fly fishing :chuckle:

This place is no secret so here are a couple from our Colchuck permit a couple years back. Did pretty well with the fly rod catching dinks. Spinning rod caught fewer fish but larger ones.

Anyone care to share their go-to lure/fly setup?

Post by: Stein on May 05, 2023, 01:27:54 PM: I'll do two trips with my son, last year we saw some incredible lakes and horrible fishing. I think I'll ignore the WDFW website that guided me to fishless lakes and just pick ones that we want to go to.
