With the spinning rod no less, nice work!
How were their size? Normal for this time of year? Smaller? Bigger?

Normal size for June, about the size of a big kokanee.

Awesome, you fishing by the nisqually? We are heading out in a few hours for a couple day in 11, but willing to travel where the fish are.

I fished the North end of Area 10, off Edmonds. I heard a rumor that there was a hot bite off Shilshole. But I didn’t make that far south.

That's because we're all resting our arms for the Bubble tomorrow. :chuckle:
Decent looking fish, certainly look better than the last couple of filets in the freezer we cooked up last weekend.

Good luck at bubble. I see John Martinis has a nice bubble Chinook on his Facebook page.

Hope to get out to Jeff Head this weekend to chase Coho. Would love a fresh salmon for the bbq.

Fished Kingston and Edmonds oil dock but no luck today. We actually were going to go Shrimping, but the tide was so horrible we thought we would try fishing instead.

I went out this morning to shake off the rust. Found a lot more blackmouth than coho, but got it done about 9:30.
