Probably any Washington tag I can think of, this one would get a notch. There has always been something about this buck.His ears are to small, makes his rack look freakishly perfect.

I usually fudge low, it has served me well.
You could squeeze 2.5 on eyeguards, 3.5 on one mass but again, that makes easier math and it helps if the g2 is 14 not 15.

Pretty close to what I thought. I had a bit less mass, but a bit longer G3’s and G4’s and I put him close to 175. If I recall, I went
22 mains
2 g1
15 g2
10 g3
10 g4
5,4,4,3 on mass

:tup: Looks like I overshot quite a bit on mass, also I forgot that spread credit is dependent on main beam length.

To each their own for sure. I’ve certainly killed bigger, I don’t know if you have, but whether it’s the shape or the rack, or animal itself. I wouldn’t hesitate.

haven’t come close to killing a mule deer of this stature, I admit I’m not good at scoring deer. But if Karl says it’s 180+, I’d kill a 180+ deer on opening day, if I knew it was. I'd be hoping for my heart to beat instead of pound. I'd be so nervous about screwing that up.
