Title: Crawdads on closed river system
Post by: 85yota on July 07, 2023, 05:39:32 PM: So we all know at this point the snohomish system is closed. Anyone have any idea on the legality of throwing down crawdad pots. Fish and wildlife is closed otherwise I would call but planned on tossing some pots this weekend. Might be an ask for forgiveness situation, but going for invasive mud bugs with no poles in hand might be acceptable.. it says fishing is closed, but would dropping pots be considered fishing? Anyone have any ideas

The emergency order states it’s closed to all fishing, this includes shell fish. Millcreek office verified this when I called to check last month before I wanted to go out.
