So we all know at this point the snohomish system is closed. Anyone have any idea on the legality of throwing down crawdad pots. Fish and wildlife is closed otherwise I would call but planned on tossing some pots this weekend. Might be an ask for forgiveness situation, but going for invasive mud bugs with no poles in hand might be acceptable.. it says fishing is closed, but would dropping pots be considered fishing? Anyone have any ideas

Crays are under shellfish regs, which are seperate. Go for it.

There’s no mud bugs on the snoho or sky, plus it’s closed I would stay away lol

The emergency order states it’s closed to all fishing, this includes shell fish. Millcreek office verified this when I called to check last month before I wanted to go out.

When it comes to fish and game regs, you'd be better off asking for permission. There is no forgiveness for violating F&G rules. :dunno:
