Sam Baird of Slammin' Salmon Guide service passed away. Sure enjoyed fishing with him. Always enjoyed receiving and dishing out crap when encountering Sam on the water. He was always willing to share his tricks to success, an Antipro for sure. Fishing lost a great ambassador. Hard to believe he is gone...He will be greatly missed.

Sammy was a good hunter, a great fisherman, and an exceptional friend. My wife and I loved him like family. Heartbroken doesn’t even begin to describe it.
RIP brother.

He always left me laughing after talking with him. He had a big voice on the river and you could always hear him when making a pass. Hopefully his wife keeps making his bait scents. If your on the Eastern Washington fishing page they are selling his antipro stickers and 100% of the proceeds go to his wife.
