Just got back from a great trip weather and fishing wise. Kings, Coho, lingcod, rockfish, cod, crab. Ended up chasing rockfish and lings the one day we could teach the tuna. Already waiting for next year.

Another king and a double on yelloweye that we had to use 6 lbs of lead to descend back down. Thank God for electric reels!

My kind of a trip! Nice variety and some dandy yellow eye. Was that a charter or private?

private, we ally do 7-8 days every August. Crazy thing is we caught two considerably bigger that we didn’t take pictures of because we were riding to get them back down. One close to 15 and the other was 12-13lbs. We have a defending device and then watch charters out there just throw them over the side of the boat. They are a neat fish.
