:yeah: Smack them in the face with a maribou jig and see who really isnt biting

That’s what I’m dealing with… lots of short strikes and fish coming off before meeting the net. Sometimes it seems to work keeping the boat in gear to keep tention on the fish and other times it works to kick in neutral and float back… all depends on what kind of current your dealing with… :dunno:

Post by: Stein on September 13, 2023, 06:40:50 PM: Barbless hooks are awesome. We lost 12 fish near the boat last Sunday, that doesn't count the bites that didn't stick or the ones lost right away.

Having one hook back pretty far seems to help a bit, but some days are just not good and then the next day you don't lose a single one.

I could see tons of fish down there,with my own eye.
I throw the whole tackle box at them.
Nothing.
Sometimes you just don't have what there looking for.It sucks to know they are there.

Post by: Blacklab on October 04, 2023, 03:54:56 PM: Don’t mean to sound like I’m bragging. Dana I made it out today. Caught a whopper 16 inch jack. Then I looked at my card and it was my first one of the year. lol I’ve caught kokannee bigger than this thing. Fun day on the water 👍
