Title: Lake Roosevelt Sturgeon
Post by: MR5x5 on October 11, 2023, 09:33:31 AM
I'm looking to give it a go the first week of November.  Any reports or words of wisdom?

Also, I plan to bring my dog, figure there must be Chucker in the area.  If anybody has a general area they'd like to share that'd be great.

Thanks for that.  Maybe the dog stays home.  Not necessarily a bad thing....

Sturgeon candy is a jar of pickled shad. It convinced one to bite my line last year but it wasnt a keeper. This year I accidently caught one on a gigantic freak of nature nightcrawler that looked like a small snake. A sturgeon came up to 12 feet of water to eat it. I've heard of people using fresh bluegill fillets doing well too.
