Title: Young Blacktail
Post by: Timber on June 07, 2009, 01:42:06 PM
Got a picture this weekend of a young blacktail buck. I wanted to post this because I am so impressed with the quality of this picture given the low light. I shot this handheld at 1/50th of a second at 1600 ISO with a focal length of 400mm. Without IS this wouldn't have been possible.

About 40-50 yds. Obviously, being close makes a world of difference when it comes to picture quality.
