Title: Port Angeles Halibut Derby
Post by: PA BEN on June 10, 2009, 08:50:03 AM: I ended up in 27th place w/this 42 lber. They was between 600 and 700 fisherman.

Post by: Blsum on June 10, 2009, 10:13:26 AM: Very nice. I went for the first time ever this last weekend. I don't know why but the one I caught looks smaller then yours. I didn't put mine on a scale but the guy who caught one a little smaller then mine weighted his after he got home at 43.5 lbs. That's after he gutted it. So I'm just guessing mine was around 50lbs.

Post by: Sneaky on June 10, 2009, 08:54:16 PM: Cool fish. I've heard you catch them out of PA in 500+ feet? My grandpa always used to tell me the buoy right off ediz hook was a good spot too.
