Title: Anybody been out to the coast recently?
Post by: SteelCut on March 07, 2024, 02:10:24 PM: Was wondering how busy it is right now from anybody that’s been recently?

After seeing too many crowds on a Monday for the Hoh a couple weeks back, I hiked in to a different river and managed one on spoon and another on fly. Was thinking of scooting back out there in a week or two. Maybe float the lower bogi water if crowds are nutty on Ho.

Yeah I try to use my Monday off to get out there and avoid some of the crowds. Maybe take a Tuesday and overnight. I’ll probably do that here towards the end of the month and see how I luck out. I usually like to hike in above the guide boats or go down below the last gravel bar launch. My favorite is April and on when the waves of folks calm down.
