I moved over here 4 years ago from the best whitetail hunting in the State. I've hunted whitetails all my life. I always go home to hunt. It's time I learned to hunt these Blacktails over here. Over there, some areas have BIG BUCK Genetics. My wife and 10 yr old daughter and I drew doe tags for PYSHT 603 unit. I live close so it will be EZ for scouting. My doe tag will be a last minute meat kill. So any help would be nice. I'm not looking for anyones honey hole, just general areas in this unit.

Pa, have never hunted that unit personally but have a few friends up that way that do get some decent bucks. I think alot of that is gated which is good. Get a mountain bike and get away from the indians.I do quite abit of scouting in the summer months. Find an area with the genetics and wait for the rut. A little birdie told me they respond to horns real well.
