Title: Roosevelt vs mocrocks razor clamming.

We are clamming tomorrow and I’ve only done ocean shores in the past.

Post by: awallfishnhunt on April 11, 2024, 04:49:39 PM: Mocrocks is the whole beach from moclips river to copalis river. Roosevelt is the only beach approach south of Joe Creek or pacific beach and north of the copalis river. Either way the whole area in general is good digging.

Post by: Humptulips on April 11, 2024, 10:08:12 PM: I dug at Moclips Tuesday and the sand was terribly hard. Made for tough digging. You could actually see the clams flashing the sand when they sucked and they wouldn't leave a show. Dug at Ocean City Wednesday and it was normal. Not sure what caused the sand to be so hard but I would try Roosevelt.
