Anyone else notice lack of Green River permits ?
-
Looks like from 10 to 8 for Q bull. I drew that tag in 86 and think it was about 25.

The muckleshoot tribe can and has been doing more hunts in there, so our numbers went down. For years they agreed to harvest the same as us, that worked well. Now they are back to ceremonial hunts and taking more. A main guard told me this a few years ago when I was in there, figured they would reduce our tags.

They added a green river bull hunt in the youth category i seen. My nephew will be applying for

No cow elk for us now

I have been in the shed the last 2 years. Elk numbers are way down. No issues with the dept stopping cow harvest for a few years.

Agreed. I don't think the tribe can shoot cows on a ceremony permit. I need to check on that.
