That's it... this year I'm on the ground! My hunting buddies tell me that I put my treestands in bad places anyway. I've bought two broken groundblinds (Primos Eclipse and Ameristep Tomtaker). I'll be slingin arrows through mesh this year! I've got two salt licks next to catch-alls in the open country for mulies...got 2 trailcams on 4x4's out there right now snappin pics. I also just set a cam and a lick up in the foothills hoping for some whitetail action. I plan on moving the blinds in about 2 weeks before the season at the mule deer sites and directly from there I'll take one to my whitetail spot for about a week. any advise? Thoughts? I'll keep this thread updated from set-up to Kill(s)...maybe

Very popular for sure. Not my style at all. Same rules apply but have to watch movement more.

Do you have any pics of those deer? In any case that would be pretty cool to kill a deer from a ground blind. From what I've seen on tv it looks like it take alot of patience and looks really hot :fire.:

hey mr mykiss.... you might want to move this one... all you're getting is little tiny bulls.
actually, I'll take good care of them for you when you're in Idaho. Remember the big BA you gave my camera... wait till you get back :chuckle: :chuckle:
