I talked with a Game Warden at the corps boat launch just prior to launching my boat today (Sunday 14 June) at noon and he confirmed that Pacific Seafood lost 32,000 triploids from their pens in the 4 to 6 pound range early last week. The wife & I fished RW today from noon till 4:45 when the wind came up and lightning to the Southeast caused us to bail. We fished from well #8 up past the lower set of pens casting to the bank and I'm sure Pacific Seafood lost 32,000 Trip's because we brought many to the boat for catch & release. We used freshly tied Trout Pellet Flies and had doubles more often than not. Just based on the numbers, today was probably the best day of fishing I've ever had on Rufus Woods.
Get'em while their hot boys >:( >:( >:(
Good news travels fast.

Way too many people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the campground was packed full. the boat parking lot was full with people camping in it. and there was no where to launch at bridgeport state park.!!!! Our big plans for the weekend got cancelled there so we went to conconully. 2 trout. about 12 inch. nothin big.
The fishing isn't what you think. People were fighting adn bickoring at the baot launch. people being rude on the water. dont go it just ruins your day fishing when people are disrespectful. :bash: :bash:
